This year under the project ‘Comfortable School’ it is planned to build 217 new schools. ‘Kazakhtelecom’ intends to provide them with access to high-speed Internet.

‘Mandatory participation of Kazakhtelecom JSC in the project ‘Comfortable School’ is aimed at providing reliable access to the Internet for new educational institutions. The developed infrastructure and technical capabilities of the Company allow achieving significant results in this regard. In addition, we have completed construction of fibre-optic communication lines (FOCL) for more than 200 schools in villages. By the end of the year we plan to complete similar works in all regions of the country and connect over 700 additional rural schools,’ said Bagdat Musin, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhtelecom JSC.

The project ‘Comfortable School’ is aimed at creating favourable conditions for children's education, and providing schools with high quality Internet allows introducing modern technologies into the educational process, developing digital literacy among schoolchildren and providing them with equal opportunities to receive quality education.
