In the Karaganda region, out of 8 land plots allocated for the construction of comfortable schools, preparatory work has not yet begun on 2. At 6 sites, due to the lack of a school concept, it is impossible to carry out engineering work. These and other problems were discussed by representatives of Samruk-Kazyna Construction during a tour of the land allocated for the construction of schools.

The delegation, headed by the director of the department for the implementation of the national project Yerbol Akhmetov, visited the East Kazakhstan, Abay and Karaganda regions. The purpose of the trip is to check the sites before the start of construction work, as well as discuss the problematic issues of developers and solve them on the spot. After all, comfortable schools for 300-900 students should be ready by the beginning of the next academic year.

According to the plan, developers were supposed to mobilize on the sites within a week after the signing of the contract, but some companies are in no hurry. There are no fences or surveillance cameras in the territories, and no access roads are marked. The reason for this, according to representatives of construction companies, is a number of problems: green spaces and trees on the site, difficult terrain, garbage and lack of engineering networks.

By the way, Samruk-Kazyna Construction does not allocate land. The location of educational facilities is determined by local executive bodies. Yerbol Akhmetov discussed all the comments and shortcomings with representatives of local executive bodies and contractors.

The developers were reminded that if the contractor fails to complete the work more than 7 days more than twice, the contract with him will be terminated unilaterally. And the construction of the school will be transferred to another, more responsible company. Such measures are being taken to ensure that all comfortable schools are built and commissioned in a timely manner.
