Compliance is compliance with any internal or external requirements or norms.

The function of the Compliance Controller of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC (the Company) is to define an Anti-Corruption Policy, and monitor implementation of anti-corruption measures, including the assessment of corruption risks.

On May 17, 2018, by a decision of the Board of Directors, the position of Compliance Controller was introduced into the Company's Organizational Chart.

The Compliance Controller, together with the Company's structural divisions, ensures, if necessary, that internal regulatory documents are brought into line with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on anti-corruption, taking into account the analysis of corruption risks.

In the first half of 2020, the Company's Anti-Corruption Standard was developed, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", the risks of corruption in procurement, hiring, evaluation, promotion and dismissal of employees, and other business processes of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC were analyzed.

In the second quarter of 2020, a due diligence of the Company's counterparties under the service procurement contracts exceeding 10 million tenge was carried out. Audits of procurements were carried out based on the website www.zakup.sk.kz.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, a seminar was held with the participation of the First Deputy Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Service for Nur-Sultan Zhylkyshiyeva Zh. The meeting on Innovations in Anti-Corruption Legislation and the Formation of the Ideology of Integrity was held with the teams of subsidiaries of Samruk-Kazyna JSC: Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, SK Development LLP, Corporate Fund "Company for Construction of Facilities".
