A meeting with the head of the region Nurlan Urankhaev was held.

Maulen Aimanbetov's working trips to the regions continue. Having familiarized himself with the situation in Pavlodar region on February 13, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction went to Abay region. 11 schools within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School" will be built in the region, 5 of which will open their doors this year.

On his way to Semey, Aimanbetov visited the site of a 300-seat school in the village of Beskaragai, which will be completed by September 1 this year. The contractor "Kurylys" LLP has carried out excavation works, the foundation has been started. Akim of Beskaragai district Talgat Muratov reported on the situation with the connection of external engineering networks to the school. To date, the project has been developed and received a positive conclusion of state expertise, the process of determining the contracting organization is underway.

In the regional center the head of Samruk-Kazyna Construction visited the construction site of a comfortable school for 1200 seats in the residential area "Karagaily". The contractor "AN Groups" LLP works qualitatively and ahead of schedule. Therefore, on September 1, the educational institution will start accepting children.

In total, in 2024, 2 schools will be put into operation in Abay region before September 1, while 3 schools will be opened before the end of the year. At the second stage of the National Project implementation in 2024-2025, 6 more educational institutions will be built.

At 18.00 there was a face-to-face meeting between Aimanbetov and Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhaev. The meeting on the progress of the national project implementation was attended by contractors, as well as online the central office of Samruk-Kazyna Construction and design companies.

Chairman of the Board reminded the head of the region about the amendments to the law "On Education", according to which the procurement of design and construction of external engineering networks to schools within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School" can be conducted from a single source. That is, the law on public procurement does not apply to the national project. Akim of the region, city of republican significance, capital determines suppliers of works, services, concludes civil law contracts with them and registers them in the treasury bodies, which will save time on competitive procedures and provide schools with IKI in a timely manner.

"All furniture products must be coordinated with the regional education department. It is necessary to already start forming the administration and staff of the future schools so that they will be directly involved in furnishing and equipping. Please take all this into consideration and give appropriate instructions," Maulen Aimanbetov added.

They also discussed the issues of allocation and registration of land plots for future comfortable schools, the delivery of which is scheduled for 2025. An agreement was signed with the branch of NAO "Government for Citizens" in Abay region for registration of land plots with issuance of title documents. At the moment the work on registration of 5 land plots at Samruk-Kazyna Construction is being carried out, the process of registration of 1 land plot is in progress. Already now local executive bodies need to start supplying engineering communications to the allotted area for the construction of schools.

At the end of the meeting Nurlan Urankhaev made sure that all issues have been solved from the side of the customer represented by Samruk-Kazyna Construction, financing has been allocated. It remains to start works, to increase their pace and to complete the project with dignity. Akim of Abay region assured to take all issues under control.
