Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev familiarized with the construction of a comfortable school for 2000 seats
The school for 2,000 seats is being built south of Kuldzha road, on the territory of the new polycenter "Eastern Gate" in Medeu district.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC Amangeldy Sattarov told about the progress of construction of the school of new format. At the moment the frame is being erected on the site.
"The school will be three-storied, the canteen will be located downstairs, on the basement floor. A large stadium is envisioned on the site. According to the new RAP, a green area will be arranged in place of the planned parking lot. A separate parking lot will be organized for cars. The facility is planned to be completed by the end of this year," said Amangeldy Sattarov.
Having heard information on the status of the project at the construction site, the akim of the city emphasized the need to ensure safety measures when developing the access road to the school and parking space. For this purpose, speed limits will be introduced and regulated crosswalks will be equipped. Akim of the city also pointed out the need for timely connection of engineering networks of the object to the city-wide ones and completion of construction within the specified timeframe.
Children living in "Duman", "Duman-2", "Atyrau", "Kensai" and "Alatau" neighborhoods of Medeu district will be able to attend the new school. The national project will significantly reduce the load on the existing three schools located in these neighborhoods - #98, 99 and 64.
Let us remind you that 22 schools for 36,800 pupils are being built in Almaty within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School".
