SK Construction creates a level competitive playing field for the country's furniture makers
From June 12 to 14, Almaty hosts the largest furniture exhibition, which presents not only a wide range of materials, finished furniture components, various upholstery and assembled samples that reproduce the real interior, but also the most innovative equipment in furniture production and woodworking. More than 160 companies from 9 countries presented their products. The delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of National Economy, the National Chamber of "Atameken", "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" JSC, Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry familiarized first of all with domestic samples.
Within the framework of the exhibition, a meeting dedicated to providing comfortable schools with domestically produced furniture was held. The meeting was attended by the President of the Association of furniture makers Kanata Ibraev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Atameken SPE Murata Amrin and head of the monitoring group of JSC "Samruk - Kazyna Construction" Kuat Dzhilkibayev. Kazakh business drew the attention of those present to the fact that some developers delay the process of concluding contracts for the supply of furniture. Kuat Aubakirovich said that at the moment the unified directorate of the national project "Comfortable School" is working to accelerate this procedure. The initial requirement to sign a contract within 30 days after receiving a positive conclusion of the design and construction project has been relegated to the background. Due to limited time SK Construction is working with each leader of the consortium and asks them to become more active.
However, to demand to conclude a contract with this or that Kazakhstani company on furniture procurement, the unified directorate can not note Kuat Dzhilkibayev. SK Construction does not lobby the interests of individual entrepreneurs, on the contrary, the customer creates an equal competitive environment for business. Therefore, domestic commodity producers and the national chamber "Atameken" should "establish" contact with construction companies directly.
Entrepreneurs raised the issue of purchasing furniture from other regions of Kazakhstan. Businessmen insist that the supply should be exclusively from local enterprises. But it should be understood that not all regions have furniture factories with sufficient capacity to provide schools with a complete set. Therefore, contractor organizations have to conclude contracts with suppliers from neighboring regions.
The main thing is to provide schools with quality furniture and to prevent the importation of imported products. In this part, the head of the monitoring group Kuat Dzhilkibayev called on all activists to unite and conduct public control. The work should be organized not only during the reception of furniture in educational institutions, but also at the stage of production.
