Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova took part in the opening ceremony of school No. 101 in Astana. The educational facility was built on behalf of the Head of State within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’. More than 4 thousand pupils will study in the new school in two shifts.
During the solemn ceremony of the first bell Tamara Duisenova made a congratulatory speech to pupils, teachers and parents.
‘Today, we can say that the President of the country has realised your dream. Such schools will be available to all Kazakhstani children. Now your task is to study well, acquire new knowledge and become worthy citizens of the country’, - said Tamara Duisenova.
Deputy Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the builders who erected the building. The school was built in the left-bank part of the capital. There are 99 classrooms, including 6 computer rooms, 10 specialised rooms, 4 gyms, a canteen, a library. Interactive whiteboards have been installed in the classrooms.
Pilot national project ‘Comfortable school’ in the sphere of education is realised under direct order of the President of RK Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC is a single directorate responsible for the construction of schools.
