Another comfortable school for 1,500 children was commissioned in Akmola region
The implementation of the national project ‘Comfortable School’ is actively continuing and today another IT school opened its doors for 1,500 students in Karaotkel village, Akmola region. This is the third comfortable school that has been opened since the beginning of the academic year in the Tselinograd district.
The school meets all modern requirements of comfort and safety. There are rooms for additional education - various clubs from choreography to robotics. Video surveillance cameras and alarm buttons have been installed.
Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Lepekha congratulated the school students on the opening.
‘The project ‘Comfortable School’, solves the problem of lack of places in schools, creates a comfortable environment for students and teachers and reduces the gap in the quality of education between urban and rural schools. Harmonious and happy childhood of the younger generation is a national task,’ said M. Akhmetzhanov.
‘Last year we could not have imagined that our small and young village would have such a modern and beautiful school, which is not inferior to those in the capital. I am glad that my grandson will study in such a school,’ said Gulnur Amanova, a resident of the village.
Here was presented the first in the region office of young traffic inspectors, opened within the framework of interagency cooperation on prevention of juvenile delinquency and a unified education programme ‘Birtutas Tarbiye’. The opening of this class is aimed, first of all, at education of patriotism and love to the Motherland, prevention of offences in the school environment, and also at help in choosing a profession.
It should be noted that the school was built within the framework of the pilot national project ‘Comfortable School’ by direct order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC is a single directorate responsible for the construction of schools.
