A comfortable school was opened in the Yenbek neighbourhood of Alatau city in Almaty region
The number of comfortable schools in Almaty region has increased. The list of modern educational institutions commissioned in the region was supplemented by a facility in Yenbek microdistrict of Alatau city. The initiative of President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev has solved a pressing problem of the settlement. Until today, the village had only a one-storey primary school. Pupils in grades 5-11 had to travel by bus to the neighbouring village of Zhetygen. The distance of 4-5 kilometres was especially inconvenient in winter. Local residents are very happy that this problem has now been solved.
The school is designed for 600 pupils in one shift. It fully meets the needs of the village in pupils' places. I am glad that the school is not only new and comfortable, but also well-equipped, and its internal design is well thought out. The corridors are decorated in light colours, with pictures and quotes of famous personalities on the walls. The design of the classrooms corresponds to the educational theme. Children will be happy to go to such a modern educational institution.
The construction of four comfortable schools is planned in Iliyskiy district of Almaty region. Today, a 600-seat school in Yenbek village has been commissioned. At present, construction of three more educational facilities for 900 places in the villages of Koyankus, Karasu and Tilendiev is in progress.
