The fifth comfortable school was opened in Almaty region
A new comfortable school was inaugurated today in Kokozek village, Karasai district, Almaty region. This is the fifth facility in the region commissioned under the national project. The opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Akim Abdrakhim Nurlan Yergalievich of the region, teachers, parents and pupils.
The school opened in Kokozek village is designed to educate 1500 children in one shift. The total area of the building is more than 15 thousand square metres. The general contractor of the construction was BIGlobal LLP. The construction works started in May 2023 and were completed two months ahead of schedule.
As in other comfortable schools opened in the regions of the country, all necessary conditions have been created here. Due to the high design capacity, the school has 4 gyms: two for primary grades and two for senior grades. This allows children to study in the most comfortable environment. Moreover, the new school has completely solved the problem of lack of student places in the locality.
In the central block of the school there is an assembly hall with 312 seats, music and choreography rooms and a canteen. The latter is divided into zones depending on the age groups of the children. Comfort schools pay special attention to providing students with individual space. For example, children can spend their free time in co-working areas, the reading room of a modern library or in the school yard in warm weather.
Comfortable schools provide opportunities for pupils to gain in-depth knowledge, play sport, participate in research and develop their creativity. A modern, spacious and well-designed building attracts children. Teachers noted that the modern technical equipment of classrooms allows them to conduct lessons in an exciting format and clearly demonstrate the theory from textbooks in practice.
