On the eve of the New Year, construction of two comfortable schools was completed in Aktobe region

Today in Aktobe city there was a technical opening of two schools built within the framework of the national project. The first school, designed for 300 students in one shift, is located in Akzhar-2 residential area, the second - for 2000 students in Yeset Batyr-3 (Kargaly) residential area. The school in Akzhar-2 was built by ‘Babek Kurylys’ LLP, and the school in Yeset Batyr-3 (Kargaly) was built by ‘BI Global’ LLP. The head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Development of Aktobe region Yerzhan Muzdybaev visited the educational institutions and made sure that the objects are ready to receive the first pupils.

These schools will help solve the problem of shortage of educational institutions and three-shift education in the city. For example, the new school in Yeset Batyr-3 (Kargaly) will transfer children who studied in the neighbouring Konayev and Kyzylzhar microdistricts. To date, 360 pupils have already been enrolled in Akzhar-2 school, and 1860 children have been enrolled in Yeset batyr-3. Local executive bodies are recruiting teaching staff and personnel for the two schools, actively preparing the educational process for the beginning of the third quarter.

These schools are built to meet modern education standards and the requirements of the national project. The schools are divided into blocks for primary and high schools. They are equipped with STEM-laboratories, robotics rooms, a choreography room, a sports and gymnasium, a spacious canteen, and a medical centre. An inclusive environment for children with special educational needs has also been created. Security issues include alarm buttons connected to a centralised system, modern fire safety systems and video surveillance cameras.

Within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’, implemented on the initiative of President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, construction of 14 schools for 11,400 pupils in one shift has started in Aktobe region. 12 of them are planned to be commissioned in 2025.
