Construction of six more comfortable schools completed in Turkestan region
In the Turkestan region, the construction of six comfortable schools has been completed, which increased the total number of facilities built in the region within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School" to 13.
All six schools are located in rural settlements, which helps improve the educational infrastructure and improve the quality of education in the region. These schools will help solve the problem of shortage of student places and three-shift education, which is one of the key objectives of the national project.
Four schools, each designed for 600 places in one shift, were built in the villages of Shauildir (Otyrar district), Ulgili (Maktaaral district), Akniet (Zhetysay district) and named after G. Muratbayev (Teles district). Two more schools, designed for 900 places, are located in the villages of Sholakkorgan (Sozak district) and Zhaskeshu (Saryagash district).
The district akims took part in the technical openings of the facilities, assessing their readiness to receive the first students and teachers. Currently, local executive bodies are making final preparations for the full launch of the educational process.
The new schools were built taking into account the individual needs of each settlement. For example, the 600-seat school in the village of Akniet will accommodate children from two villages at once - Akniet and Agynsai, who were previously forced to travel to the remote village of Korikti. The school in Sholakkorgan will replace the old building, which no longer met modern requirements. Not only local children, but also students from nearby settlements will be able to study in the comfortable school in the village of Zhaskeshu. The new school in Shauildir will provide the rapidly growing and developing village with modern educational infrastructure.
Each educational institution meets the standards of the national project. The schools are equipped with STEM labs, robotics rooms, spacious assembly halls, several gyms, co-working areas and playgrounds. The school grounds will include football fields, running tracks and multi-purpose sports grounds.
A total of 29 educational facilities are being built in the region as part of the national project. Of these, 13 have already been commissioned, and the remaining 16 are planned to be completed by 2025.
