A new comfortable school located on Kazybek bi Street in the capital was inaugurated today. Parents and students had an opportunity to inspect the modern educational institution and familiarise themselves with its facilities. The construction of the school was completed at the end of 2024, and by the New Year the facility was fully ready. Today the school opened its doors to the students for the first time.

The construction of the school was carried out by Integra Construction KZ. The educational institution is designed for 2000 pupils in one shift, and today more than 500 pupils have already been enrolled in the school. The teaching and technical staff of the school is fully staffed. During the open day, parents and children not only toured the school, but also took part in masterclasses and tasted dishes from the school canteen. The guests highly appreciated the capabilities of the new building and expressed positive feedback.

The new school was built in accordance with all the requirements of the national project. There are 96 classrooms, including rooms for robotics, choreography, speech therapy, sensory therapy and inclusion, which are of particular interest. In addition, the school has two small and two large sports halls, a modern canteen and fully furnished learning spaces. Modern fire protection and CCTV systems have been installed to ensure the safety of the children.

‘Today we held the opening ceremony of our school built under the national project. The school is fully equipped with modern technologies. Special sensory and inclusive classrooms are provided for children with special educational needs. The school has also implemented measures to prevent bullying, and separate blocks are provided for junior and senior classes. We express our gratitude to our President for supporting such a project,’ said school director Rauan Zaripkyzy.

As part of the national project, Samruk-Kazyna Construction is managing the construction of 22 schools in the capital, designed for 41,200 students in one shift. Of these, 16 schools have been completed and handed over for operation in 2024. The remaining 6 Astana schools will be completed by the end of 2025.
