A new school - a step towards a brighter future
On 27 January, a new school was opened in the 19th micro-district of Aktau city within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’, implemented on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. The new educational institution is designed for 1200 places in one shift. At the moment, the school has enrolled 2,100 pupils and the educational process has already started. The construction of the object was carried out by ‘AS Kurylys’ LLP.
The school is fully equipped with modern equipment in accordance with current standards. The school has robotics, STEM, choreography, inclusive education, drawing and pottery rooms. In addition, the school has a spacious assembly hall, two sports halls and a modern library.
At the opening ceremony, Abilkair Baipakov, Akim of Aktau, cut the ribbon and congratulated the audience.
‘In accordance with the instruction of the President of RK Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’ in all regions of the country, construction of modern educational institutions is underway. In particular, in Aktau for one academic year commissioned 5 schools, of which 3 were built under this project. This large-scale work is a vivid evidence that the state creates all conditions for quality education and upbringing of the younger generation. I congratulate teachers and students on the opening of the new school!’, - said the head of the city.
Thanks to the support of the President, modern educational centres are being opened throughout Kazakhstan, creating equal opportunities for quality education in every region of the country. The opening of the new school is another important step in the development of the education system in Aktau.
