According to the results of 2024 under the leadership of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, construction of 104 educational institutions within the framework of the national project “Comfortable School” has been completed. The same number of facilities are planned to be completed in 2025. Construction of schools is under the personal control of the company's management. Chairman of the Board Maulen Aimanbetov visited 4 regions for two days, where he held meetings with contractors.

Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction Maulen Aimanbetov started his first working trip in the new year from Aktobe region. First, he visited the village of Kekiyak in Temir district, located 210 km from the regional center, to monitor the construction of a comfortable school for 600 seats and familiarize himself with the progress of work. Several difficulties arose here. Several workers of the contracting organization “Antarium Group” LLP stole high-quality concrete intended for pouring the foundation and replaced it with low-quality tamping concrete. The workers were dismissed, a criminal case was initiated, and appropriate measures were taken. Nevertheless, thanks to technical investigations and reconstruction measures, all defects have been eliminated. The school is expected to be commissioned in August this year.

According to the results of 2024, construction of 2 new comfortable schools has been completed in Aktobe region. This year 7 more schools will be opened in the regional center. The Chairman of the Board gathered the contractors of these facilities and held a meeting. During the meeting, the work schedules for each project were clarified, and the issues on elimination of the main problems were worked out. For example, close cooperation with suppliers and local authorities, as well as timely receipt of payments.

After Aktobe Oblast, Maulen Aimanbetov traveled to Atyrau Oblast, where he met with the management of the contracting companies responsible for the construction of several comfortable schools. One of the main contractors complained about the lack of funds, claiming that he had performed work not specified in the project documentation. The Chairman of the Board sternly warned that funding would only be provided for work performed within the project and instructed that all estimates for the work performed should be thoroughly checked.

In Shymkent, a meeting was held with heads of contracting companies engaged in construction of schools in the third metropolis of Kazakhstan and in Turkestan region. Here they also set deadlines for commissioning of facilities, as well as discussed issues of improving the quality of construction and ensuring timely delivery of materials. According to Maulen Aimanbetov, contractors should work closely with factories to receive materials in a timely manner. It was also instructed to study in detail the design and estimate documentation of each educational institution and take measures to eliminate all identified shortcomings.

At the meeting in Almaty, the deadlines for completion of construction works and compliance with design and estimate documentation in schools being built in Almaty and Almaty oblast were discussed. Special attention was paid to external and internal design of schools. Requirements on color of facades, their decoration with national ornaments, quality of fences of sports grounds and soundproofing of music rooms were emphasized.

As a result of the working visit, specific work schedules for each object were approved, and the task was set that the improved versions of design and estimate documentation should be approved. Strict control over the quality and timeliness of work performance was also established. Thus, control over the construction of 6 new schools, which are planned to be commissioned this year, will continue.

Under the leadership of Maulen Aimanbetov “Samruk-Kazyna Construction” continues to introduce innovations in the sphere of education in Kazakhstan, setting itself the task of building comfortable schools and realization of specific measures aimed at improving the quality of all works.
