Samruk-Kazyna Construction is considering the prospects for building housing for production workers
Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, being the operator of the Anti-Crisis Program and the Nurly Zher Program, having gained experience in housing construction management, is considering new areas of construction together with employers to meet the housing needs of production workers.
On March 30, 2023, Maulen Aimanbetov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC held a meeting with Nurakhmet Nuriev, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP. During the meeting, the prospects for housing construction in the cities of Balkhash and Zhezkazgan for Kazakhmys employees were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to establish a working group for further cooperation in these areas.
Reference: Kazakhmys conducts search, exploration, mining, enrichment and processing of copper. In addition to cathode copper, the company produces gold and silver bullion, sulfuric acid, selenium and copper telluride, and lead dust. Currently, Kazakhmys conducts exploration and production of minerals on the basis of more than 30 subsoil use contracts. About 37 thousand people work at Kazakhmys.
