When selecting suppliers, Samruk-Kazyna Construction will rely on the register of domestic manufacturers
Samruk-Kazyna Construction, the operator of the Comfortable Schools national project, will rely on the register of domestic manufacturers when choosing suppliers. It was compiled by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
The head of SK Construction met with Maksat Kikimov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of NCE Atameken, who, together with colleagues from the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, visited SK Construction to discuss topical issues. The parties discussed the structure and principle of operation of the registry. It included about 9 thousand furniture manufacturers, 13 thousand building materials manufacturers, as well as over 1.5 thousand equipment manufacturers.
The NPP also analyzed the prices of facing materials for the facades of comfortable schools. We studied the cost of fiber cement panel, travertine, limestone, brick and thermal panel. The results of the analysis will help designers to choose the optimal, at the same time, inexpensive cladding option. For example, in the Turkestan region, comfortable schools are planned to be sheathed with travertine so that the appearance of the buildings harmoniously fits into the historical appearance of the city. It should be noted that in this region it is planned to build the largest number of comfortable schools - 63.
Schools will be delivered on a turnkey basis, that is, both construction and equipment will be produced by suppliers who have won the tender. Contractors will be required to submit a special report on the purchase of goods and services from domestic manufacturers. The form of the report will be coordinated with the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- According to the plan, 95% of furniture, 60% of equipment and inventory, 65% of building materials will be purchased from domestic manufacturers. In addition, 70% of the cost of technological equipment of new schools is planned to be directed to domestic production, - assured Maulen Aimanbetov, Chairman of the Board of SK Construction.
Earlier, Samruk-Kazyna Construction denied the information that domestic producers are not allowed to participate in the implementation of this project. Such a statement is not true. The company has repeatedly stated that the share of local content, according to the concept of the project, should be 70-80%. The project is being implemented on budgetary funds, so the emphasis will be on local content, and only in the absence of Kazakh products will foreign products be purchased.
