The results of the competitive procedures for the National project "Comfortable School" have become known. As a result, the developers were identified by 118 schools, which will be built in 20 regions of the country.

A total of 206 potential suppliers participated in the tender. In total, they submitted 781 applications. Initially, the competition was announced for 185 schools, the construction of which is scheduled for 2023. While 118 objects were able to immediately determine the winners, 52 lots were not purchased due to non-compliance of potential suppliers with qualification requirements. Another 15 lots have been cancelled.

For example, in the North Kazakhstan region, a competition was announced for the construction of 1 educational institution, but the developer could not be identified. In the Almaty region, only 7 of the announced 24 lots were successfully raffled off, and for the remaining 17 schools, the winners have not been determined.

The results of the tenders can be found on the online procurement platform of the NWF Samruk-Kazyna (skcn.qaz.network).

It should be noted that after summing up the results of the current tenders, procurement procedures for all failed lots will be repeated.

The determined winners will sign EPC agreements with Samruk-Kazyna Construction, which is the operator of the national project. Such an agreement will allow launching all processes simultaneously, such as engineering (Engineering), equipment purchase (Procurement) and construction (Construction).

After signing the contracts, the stage of designing educational institutions will begin. In parallel with the design, preparatory work will be carried out on the land plots where construction is planned. This is the removal of the vegetation layer, the summing up of temporary engineering networks, the establishment of a fence, and so on.

The facilities will be delivered on a turnkey basis, that is, both construction and equipment will be produced by suppliers who have won the tender. There will be no separate lots, for example, for the supply of furniture, plumbing, interactive equipment, and so on. Procurement participants were given the opportunity to unite in consortiums to consolidate material, labor and financial resources in order to carry out work on the construction and equipping of facilities.
