Comfortable schools: the deadline for accepting applications for participation in the competition has been extended by 5 days
The deadline for accepting applications for participation in the competition for the construction of comfortable schools has been extended by 5 working days. Potential contractors must submit all documentation by June 26. This decision was made at a meeting on the implementation of the National Project, where, in addition to the leadership of Samruk-Kazyna Construction, representatives of NCE Atameken and the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan participated.
Also, several important changes were made to the qualification requirements. For example, they reduced the threshold for the minimum amount of taxes paid from 500 million tenge to 300 million tenge annually over the past 5 years, in order to apply a conditional discount to a potential supplier for category 1 licenses in the amount of 1% for each year.
Another change: potential contractors can provide preliminary contracts, contracts of intent, agreements and memorandums to confirm compliance with the qualification requirements for the availability of material and labor resources, licenses for the EIA section, as well as survey activities. Previously, only valid treaties were required.
All these changes were made based on the results of applications from potential contractors received at the discussion stage and during the acceptance of applications. These conditions will increase the number of participants in the competition that meet the qualification requirements and create conditions for the greatest competition.
It should be reminded that earlier a competition was announced for the design and construction of 62 comfortable schools. Applications started on June 9th.
