Last weekend, the director of the department for the implementation of the national project and the development of the regions of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, Yerbol Akhmetov, and the head of the construction department, Zhan Myrzagali, visited several regions, where they got acquainted with the implementation of the national project "Comfortable School".

During a working trip to Pavlodar region, issues related to the installation of engineering networks, the arrangement of sidewalks and parking lots were discussed. General contractors were instructed to complete the fencing of sites, the installation of CCTV cameras and other preparatory activities in the near future.

For example, on the site next to the 47th school in Pavlodar, where the construction of a comfortable school for 600 students is planned, work is underway to cut green spaces with an estimated completion date of August 18. And at the construction site of an educational institution for 1200 places in the Dostyk microdistrict, they began to develop a foundation pit.

As part of the pilot national project "Comfortable School" in Pavlodar region, it is planned to build 5 schools, which will create 5.4 thousand new student places in one shift (or 10.8 thousand places in two shifts). In 2023, the construction of 2 schools (out of the planned 5) for 1.8 thousand student places in one shift will begin in Pavlodar. These schools are scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2024. The construction of the remaining 3 schools for 3.6 thousand places will begin in 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025.

Also, the Samruk-Kazyna Construction inspection visited sites in the East Kazakhstan and Abay regions. In the East Kazakhstan region Erbol Akhmetov and Zhan Myrzagali held workshops on the construction of comfortable schools in the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shemonaikha, Ridder, as well as in the villages of Opytnoe and Belousovka. In the Abay region, sites were examined in the villages of Ekpin and Vodny, as well as in the cities of Semey and Ayagoz.

As part of the national project, it is planned to build 10 comfortable schools in the East Kazakhstan region (7 schools in 2024 and 3 schools in 2025), and 11 schools in the Abay region (5 schools in 2024 and 6 schools in 2025).
