Members of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction were trained in risk management and their internal control
On August 11, Astana hosted a training on the topic “Strategic risk management”, which was attended by members of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC.
This is the first training of its kind, where the strategic goals, tasks of the corporate risk management and internal control system were considered, in particular, the role of the activities of the Board of Directors and the Management Board in its effective functioning.
A separate part of the session was devoted to determining risk appetite and risk tolerance. The managers were told about the methods and technologies for making risk-based decisions, about the relationship between the company's management systems, the role and responsibility of the "three lines of defense", as well as about the aspects of integrating the risk management process into the current activities of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC.
The training was conducted by specialists from the EY Academy of Business, which has vast experience in managing risks in the real sector of the economy and conducting training courses in the field of risk management.
