Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC announces general discussion of architectural and design solutions of comfortable schools
From 11 to 17 September 2023, the people of Kazakhstan will be able to take part in discussing the designs of comfortable schools.
Samruk-Kazyna Construction gives an opportunity to students, their parents, teachers and concerned citizens to openly express their opinion on the internal filling and design of modern educational institutions being built within the framework of a large-scale national project.
All residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be able to take the survey at the link (https://forms.gle/auRNbe4NBARkLyiV7), which shows architectural solutions of building facades, external and internal design, interior, as well as plans of volume-planning solutions.
Constructive criticism, comments and suggestions are accepted and considered until 17 September 2023, after which the design and estimate documentation of comfortable schools will be submitted for state expertise.

"It is extremely important for us that the progress of the National Project is as transparent as possible, so we are ready to discuss with you the designs of future comfortable schools. Such a large-scale nationwide discussion is being held for the first time in the domestic construction industry. New and modern educational institutions should not only provide quality education, but also develop the talents and abilities of students and open the way for them to choose their future profession. Most importantly, comfortable schools should become a centre of attraction for children, youth and adults. Therefore, we invite the people of Kazakhstan to take an active part in the survey!" - stated Maulen Aimanbetov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC.
Samruk-Kazyna Construction pays special attention to the design of schools. Design and estimate documentation should be complete, detailed and thoughtful in all respects, as it is necessary to create equally accessible safe and comfortable educational environment for schoolchildren.
In 2023-2025, 369 modern schools of a new format will be built across the country, with about 738,000 pupil places. The full list of schools and contractors is available at https://skcn.kz/en/news/news/1266.
Out of 369 schools planned under the National Project, Samruk-Kazyna Construction is responsible for the construction of 359 facilities. The remaining 10 schools will be realised by local executive bodies, of which 1 school by PPP method and 9 schools by buying out the finished facility as a commodity. 163 educational institutions or 44% will be built in rural settlements, and 56%, i.e. 206 comfortable schools will be built in urban areas. All comfortable schools will be uniformly equipped. Thus, quality education and comfortable conditions will be equally accessible to both urban and rural students.
