Head of Samruk-Kazyna Construction familiarised himself with the implementation of the national project "Comfortable School" in Almaty
On 18 September, Maulen Aimanbetov made a working trip to the southern capital. The Chairman of the Board personally visited several problem areas where construction of comfortable schools is planned.
One of the educational institutions will be built on the site #98/7, which is located to the South of Kuldjin tract in Medeu district. The school for 2000 pupils will be built by Bazis Construction LLP, and commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2024. However, the preparation for construction is not underway, as it is required to change the allotted area of 3 hectares, or rather change the location. There is a large amount of soil on the proposed site, and it is also necessary to demolish green areas. Chairman of the Board of SK Construction and Vice-President of Bazis Construction Talgat Zhanseitov considered options for solving the problem.
Another comfortable school for 2,000 students will be built by BI Urban Construction in the Samgau neighbourhood on Zelenaya Street. Preparations for construction are in full swing, but the land plot is limited in area. An addition of 0.43 hectares is needed. Aimanbetov noted the need to speed up the process of joining neighbouring plots, as well as to provide for the construction of free access roads on four sides, intra-block roads around the school and car parks.
In the same neighbourhood, but already at the intersection of Ashimov and Ryskulov streets, construction of a comfortable school for 2,000 seats is planned. The contractor is BAZIS-A Corp. LLP. There are buildings on the territory, the demolition of which has been carried out by 60%. There is an active market on the site, where spontaneous trade is conducted. Because of this, access to the construction site is limited, which hinders the preparation of the site for construction. Maulen Aimanbetov instructed to solve the issue of market liquidation in the near future.
Also, the head of Samruk-Kazyna Construction visited the construction sites of comfortable schools in "Akbulak" and "Shugyla" neighbourhoods, where the contractor of "Bazis Construction" LLP will build educational institutions with the capacity of 1500 and 2500 places respectively. In addition, Maulen Aimanbetov familiarised himself with the preparations for the construction of a 1500-seat facility at the intersection of Rozybakiyev and Levitan streets, where Bazis Construction is also the contractor. The working trip ended with a visit to the site in the 1st micro-district of Auezovsky district of Almaty, where a comfortable educational institution for 600 seats will be built. There are similar problems on all sites.
Following the results of the visits, a field meeting on the implementation of the national project in Almaty was held under the chairmanship of Maulen Aimanbetov. During the meeting all problematic issues were considered. Almaty Land Relations Department needs to withdraw the proposed land plots, while the Urban Mobility Department should design and start construction of access roads and passages to comfortable schools. Kazakhtelecom JSC will consider the possibility of laying FOCL, and the regional representative of Samruk-Kazyna Construction in the southern capital is instructed to actively co-operate with local executive bodies.
To solve the problematic issues that arose during the trip, tomorrow, 19 September, the Chairman of the Board will hold a series of meetings in Almaty. At 10:30 a meeting will be held in KazNIISA to discuss seismic issues. At 12:00 a.m. a meeting is scheduled in the Research Institute "Almatygenplan", where each object within the framework of the national project will be considered. For example, in the Shugla neighbourhood it is necessary to reconsider the planned construction of a road in favour of building social facilities, including a comfortable school, due to the densely populated and densely built-up area.
At 17:00 is scheduled a meeting with the Akim of Almaty city Yerbolat Dosaev, where it is planned to put a point in solving all the above problematic issues.
In total, within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School", 22 comfortable schools for 37.1 thousand pupils will be built in Almaty in 3 years, 21 of which will be delivered next year.
