In Shymkent, a plot of land in a ravine was allocated for the construction of a comfortable school
This became known during a working visit of the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" Maulen Aimanbetov 23 September.
Comfortable school for 600 seats in the neighbourhood "Akzhar" Turan district of Shymkent will be built by Otau Construction LLP. Having examined the site, the head of Samruk-Kazyna Construction instructed to stop works on preparation for construction. It was decided to change the location of the educational institution, as there is a risk of accumulation of melt and rain water on this site, which may lead to negative consequences in the operation of the school.
It did not take long to find an alternative. Together with the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Relations, as well as the Akimat of Turan district, a suitable land plot was found. The territory is located on the border of two residential areas "Akzhar" and "Aktas", which will definitely please the local population. Maulen Aimanbetov ordered to conduct a detailed analysis of the new territory, including topographic survey, geological surveys. It is necessary to determine the planting of the building on the new site, obtain all technical conditions and start active preparation for the construction of the school. Specialists of the department of architecture, town-planning and land relations in their turn should provide marks and coordinates of the land plot within 3 days.
The problem is similar in the territories allocated for the construction of comfortable schools in the neighbourhoods "Saule" (Contractor - "A.R.T-Kurylys" LLP) and "South-East" (Contractor - "YugostroyServis-N" LLP). Both schools are designed for 1200 pupils, the relief of land plots is also uneven, there are big drops, therefore it is necessary to start works on ground replacement. The Chairman of the Board addressed to the Deputy Akim of Shymkent, reminding about the necessity to start works on design and construction of access roads to the territories of future educational institutions.
Within the framework of his working trip to Shymkent Maulen Aimanbetov visited all 12 sites of comfortable schools, construction of which will start this year. Commissioning is scheduled for 2024. The Chairman of the Board gave specific instructions to solve problematic issues that arose during the preparatory work.
Within the framework of the pilot national project "Comfortable School" 18 educational institutions of new format will be built in Shymkent. This will allow to create 28 thousand new pupil places in one shift (56 thousand in two shifts). As noted above, 12 schools will be delivered in 2024, the remaining 6 schools by the end of 2025.
The working weekend of the Chairman of the Board will continue in Turkestan region. Maulen Aimanbetov will visit construction sites of comfortable schools in the regional centre, as well as get acquainted with the progress of preparatory work on land plots in settlements. On Sunday he is scheduled to visit Shardara, Keles, Abay, Saryagash districts, and the working week will begin with a visit to the construction of a power plant based on a combined cycle gas turbine with a capacity of 1000 MW in Turkestan region. Further visits to the construction sites of comfortable schools in Tolebi, Baidibek, Sozak and Sauran districts and the city of Turkestan will continue.
