During the field working session the delegation familiarised itself with the production process of roofing and cladding materials.

The new plant is located on the territory of FEZ "Astana - New City". The production capacity is up to 75 thousand m² of laminated wall panels per month. This is the first enterprise in the country that uses environmentally friendly cellulose base and wall panel lamination technology in production.

The plant is also capable of producing up to 7.2 thousand tonnes of aluminium profiles, up to 2 million m² of cladding and up to 1.5 million m² of roofing materials per year.

The investment amount is 4.2 billion tenge, of which 3.4 billion tenge (80%) was invested by Samruk-Kazyna Construction within the framework of investment activities.

The opening of the enterprise is scheduled for December of the current year.

This is another significant contribution of the Company to the implementation of the import substitution development programme. After all, thanks to local production of construction materials, not only dependence on imports is reduced, but also the cost of a square metre of housing.
