On 1 December, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" Maulen Aimanbetov went to the region with a working visit. The meeting chaired by Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov was attended by deputy akim of the region, representatives of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Development, as well as heads of contractors.

In Akmola region within the framework of the national project 18 educational institutions will be built in 2023-2025. Of these, 9 comfortable schools are planned to be commissioned by the end of next year. Land plots of future facilities are ready, preparatory works have been fully completed. Contractors will start full-scale construction after receiving the conclusion of the state expertise. At the moment, the design plans for comfortable schools are being brought in line with the design task approved in the updated Government Resolution. Also changes are made within the framework of optimisation of the estimate, namely the height of floors, basements, facing materials for the facade of comfort schools have been revised. The ready PSD will be checked under a microscope by designers of "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" JSC for overpricing, optimality, after which it will be uploaded to the electronic portal of RSE "Gosexpertiza". Chairman of the Board Maulen Aimanbetov assured the participants of the meeting that the main thing is to get quality design and estimate documentation, which will allow to carry out construction work in due time.

The meeting also discussed the issues of utility connections, storm water drainage, septic tanks and wells. It is necessary to determine the volume of water reservoirs. In turn, representatives of local executive bodies assured that they will consider the best options for solving these problems and send them for discussion to JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Construction". After that it is planned to jointly determine the source of financing of engineering and communication infrastructure. In conclusion, the akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov noted that the akimat will provide full assistance in solving urgent issues.
