The Legal Support Department provided 71 opinions on various legal issues during the year

Our team of experienced lawyers provides legal opinions on supplementary agreements to lease-purchase agreements, as well as on investment projects. They also review draft agreements on procurement of goods, works and services. This ensures competent legal execution and dispute resolution of all documents.
According to Damir Zhumashev, over the past year the company's lawyers issued:
- 52 opinions on investment projects;
- 71 opinions on various legal issues,
- 40 opinions on procurement contracts;
- 281 explanatory notes and draft decisions;
- 307 powers of attorney.
As part of the claim and enforcement work, a lot of work was done to collect lease payment arrears by force. In 2023, the company's lawyers initiated 161 lawsuits and 297 enforcement notices totaling 196 million tenge.
In the current year, the department of legal support plans to conduct claim and enforcement work on a number of investment projects and the introduction of automation of business processes.
As a result of the report, the head of Samruk-Kazyna Construction Maulen Aimanbetov instructed to provide a detailed analysis of accounts receivable and disclose the reasons for its formation. Also, the Chairman of the Board made comments on redirecting the activities of the department to comply with the strategic objectives of the Company. According to him, the Company's lawyers should closely cooperate with all structural subdivisions of the Company.
