Это позволит обеспечить равные возможности для участия отечественных производителей мебели в национальном проекте «Комфортная школа».

The company notes the need to create consortiums in all 20 regions, otherwise most of the orders for equipping schools with furniture will be taken by a few large manufacturers, while a large number of small shops and factories will be left behind.

The proposal was made by Gabit Malgazdarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, at a meeting with the leadership of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and representatives of industry associations.

"We propose that NPP "Atameken" or the Union of Manufacturing Industry provide us with consortiums of furniture manufacturers for each region. This will include all local enterprises. As part of one consortium, they will conclude contracts with contractors of comfortable schools. Thus, we will achieve fairness, because the orders will be evenly distributed between large and small domestic manufacturers," Malgazdarov explained.

According to him, if one enterprise takes up the production of desks, another - cabinets, a third - chairs and further down the list, all local companies will be loaded.

"Otherwise, from a huge list of domestic enterprises in the national project will be involved only 10%, and the remaining 90% will complain, and accuse us of lobbying the interests of large furniture companies. We are in favor of attracting the maximum number of Kazakhstani producers to the implementation of the national project. If we are given 20 ready consortiums, we will gladly give them to our contractors, who will conclude contracts with the consortium, not a particular manufacturer," - concluded the first deputy chairman of Samruk-Kazyna Construction.

The initiative was openly supported by Kanat Ibrayev, President of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He considers this approach to be fair and the most effective.
