The choice of furniture for comfortable schools was discussed in Almaty city

Representatives of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, NPP Atameken, contractors, school principals, as well as domestic manufacturers of furniture, technical equipment and construction materials took part in the meeting initiated by the Department of Education of Almaty.
At the meeting the head of monitoring group of "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" Kuat Dzhilkibayev reminded the business about the requirements for participation in the national project. As previously reported, furniture for comfortable schools will be purchased exclusively from Kazakhstani manufacturers, which are included in the registers of commodity producers of the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" and domestic manufacturers NPP "Atameken". Also, entrepreneurs must have a certificate "ST-KZ" and/or industrial certificate, which confirm the status of domestic producers. Another criterion is the base of AGSK (architectural, urban planning and construction catalog), which is formed in JSC "KazNIISA".
Entrepreneurs who do not yet meet these parameters are advised to hurry up. After receiving certificates or entering the necessary bases, businessmen can participate in the first and second stages of the national project.

In turn, entrepreneurs raised the issue of design project of furniture for educational institutions, namely, it is necessary to determine the color of the material to start production. The work is carried out by the unified directorate for design and construction, by the end of the week future suppliers of comfortable schools will receive such information.
In parallel, Samruk-Kazyna Construction will work closely on coordination of furniture and equipment with Almaty Akimat. Deputy head of education department Aidyn Saylaubai noted that they will carefully select future equipment for schools. They plan to give preference to modernity and quality.
According to the results of the meeting the following decisions were made:
- Until March 19 it is necessary to consider and agree on samples of basic school furniture according to the approved list of the Ministry of Education of the RK.
- Until March 20, it is necessary to consider models of computer equipment and interactive equipment with technical characteristics according to the list of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
These measures will allow to attract Kazakhstani commodity producers in the implementation of the national project, in addition, to avoid the risks of supplying low-quality and imported products. Special attention should be paid to companies that can pass off goods imported from abroad as domestic. Such entrepreneurs should not be allowed to equip comfortable schools. Otherwise, contracting organizations will be held liable.
