Akim of Astana familiarized with the implementation of the national project "Comfortable School"
May 18, Astana Mayor Zhenis Kasymbek visited four construction sites of comfortable schools. Future educational institutions are located on A. Baitursynov, Orynbor, Mangilik el and Tole bi streets. Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" JSC Amangeldy Sattarov familiarized the Mayor with the implementation of the pilot national project.
The first object of the visit was a comfortable school for 600 pupils on Baitursynova Street. ASTI LLP is building the educational institution in cramped conditions. The area of the land plot is only 1.5 hectares, so to accommodate a soccer field, sports and children's playgrounds, it was decided to make the school four-storey. The educational institution will open its doors on September 1 of the current year, which will significantly reduce the load of school No. 72, which is located 1.3 km from the site. At the moment about 4 thousand children are studying there, 800 of them will move to the new educational institution.
The situation is similar for comfortable schools for 2,000 pupils in one shift located on Orynbor and Mangilik El streets. The contractors of the facilities are Bazis Construction LLP and Integra Construction KZ. The construction of educational institutions is being actively carried out, the companies have started facing works. The leaders of the consortiums have a task - to put the educational institution into operation on the Day of Knowledge, as there is an acute deficit of pupil places in Esil and Nura districts. That is why 15 comfortable schools are being built here within the framework of the national project. One of them is located on Tole Bi Street, near the Green Quarter. The object for 2000 places is being built by "BI Global" LLP. The contracting organization presented to Jenis Kasymbek a showroom, which is an example of future offices, equipped with furniture and equipment.
During the visit to the facilities, the akim of the city and the Deputy Chairman of the Board discussed topical issues on the implementation of the National Project, namely, the connection of engineering networks and access roads to the sites of comfortable schools.
In total, within the framework of the initiative of the head of state, 24 educational institutions are planned to be built and put into operation in the capital, which will create 44.4 thousand pupil places in one shift. Of these, 9 educational facilities will open their doors on September 1 of the current year. Future directors of comfortable schools have already been appointed, at the moment the staffing of subject teachers is in progress. On June 1, the acceptance of documents and enrollment in educational institutions will begin. The process will be traditionally conducted through local executive bodies.
