From 2 to 10 August, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC Maulen Aimanbetov paid a working visit to Almaty, Shymkent, Almaty, Zhambyl, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, West Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Aktobe regions. During his visit, he not only familiarised himself with the progress of construction of educational institutions under the National Project, but also held a number of meetings in regional akimats on the acceptance of finished buildings.

In order for akimats to accept comfortable schools on their balance sheet without delays and hiccups, it is already necessary to create a special working group and check the quality of work and its compliance with standards. The working group should include specialists from the regional executive bodies listed below:

  • education department;
  • construction department;
  • department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control;
  • department of Emergency Situations;
  • department of State Architectural and Construction Control;
  • department of Employment and Social Protection;
  • department of Justice;
  • department of Finance.

According to Maulen Aimanbetov, special working groups should start inspecting schools now, identify deficiencies and give recommendations to builders on how to correct them. Then the schools will not only be of high quality and comply with all regulations, but also the timeframe for their enrolment on the balance of the MIO will be noticeably shorter.

"If we take care of it now, all shortcomings can be corrected quickly, qualitatively and in time. Therefore, I ask the regions to set up a special working group in the near future and start checking. This working group will fulfil an advisory function. For this purpose, in each region, contractors should conclude memoranda with local departments of sanitary and epidemiological control, emergency situations and other bodies. In each region I visit, I hold a meeting with representatives of the akimat and raise this issue", - added the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC.
