A comfortable school opened its doors in the village of Sarykemer in Zhambyl region. The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev
Today is a big day of celebration for the residents of Sarykemer village. A new school of modern format, which was eagerly awaited, opened its doors.
School No. 7 was built within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’, which is being implemented on behalf of the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. The school is designed for 600 students in one shift. To date, 525 pupils have been enrolled in the educational facility.
The head of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev took part in the opening ceremony of the school of modern standard. Akim of the region congratulated the villagers on the significant event and wished the children success in the new academic year.
‘I congratulate you on 1 September - the Day of Knowledge! Knowledge is light. It is the source of science and teaching. Any country that thinks about the future first pays special attention to education. The focus of our President is to create conditions for the future generation to be healthy, educated and well-mannered. Today we have witnessed the opening of a new comfortable school for the benefit of our future - our children. The educational institution, where all conditions for education have been created, will serve for the benefit of rural children,’ said the head of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev.
The school is equipped with the most advanced technologies. All conditions have been created in the school to educate children in a safe and comfortable environment. The akim of the region and villagers were personally convinced of this. After the opening ceremony the villagers got acquainted with classrooms, laboratory, assembly and sports halls and gave their appreciation.
It should be noted that 4 times more money than usual has been allocated for technical equipment of comfortable schools. If for equipment of ordinary secondary schools 5 per cent of the cost of the object is allocated, then for educational institutions of the new format, this indicator was 20 per cent. The innovations will allow students to receive a quality education in a competitive environment.
To date, five more comfortable schools are under construction in Zhambyl oblast. The educational institutions will help to solve the issue of shortage of pupil places in the region.
