The fourth comfortable school was commissioned in Akmola region
Today in Akmol village, Tselinograd district, Akmola region, the Akmol Village School-Gymnasium for 1200 pupils was commissioned. This is the third school built in the region under the national project ‘Comfortable School’. Earlier comfortable schools were opened in Talapker and Karaotkel villages.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Education Gani Beisembaev, regional akim Marat Akhmetzhanov, rector of Kokshetau University named after Abai Myrzakhmetov - Sagintai Yelubaev and rector of Kokshetau University named after Shokan Ualikhanov Marat Sirlybaev.
The new modern comfortable school has a functional and safe educational environment for children. Separate blocks are provided for primary and high school students. There is also a barrier-free environment for children with special educational needs, modern subject classrooms, STEM-labs, robotics classes, a choreography hall, 4 gyms, co-working and recreation areas, playgrounds and sports grounds. Special attention has been paid to security measures: digital video cameras and turnstiles have been installed.
The pilot national project ‘Comfortable School’ in the sphere of education is implemented by direct order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. Samruk- KazynaConstruction JSC is a single directorate responsible for school construction.
