In Shymkent, within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’, the first educational institutions were handed over for the benefit of the people
On the eve of the Republic Day, the ribbon of a comfortable school for 2,000 seats was cut in the ‘Nurshuak’ neighbourhood of the metropolis. Gabit Syzdykbekov, Akim of Shymkent, took part in the solemn event.
Local residents were looking forward to the opening of the school. In this part of the city the issue of education is acute. Until today, children had to spend about half an hour to get to the school. The problematic issue was solved within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’, which is being implemented on the initiative of the President. Starting from the second quarter, boys and girls will go to the new modern school.
Every metre in the school has been effectively used. There are about 100 classrooms, not counting 4 gyms, assembly halls and canteens. In addition, co-working areas have been organised in each block of the school, depending on the age of the children.
