A comfortable school was opened in Zhankozha Batyr village of Kyzylorda region
In Zhankozha Batyr village of Kazaly district, Kyzylorda region, today is a double holiday. In honour of Nauryz, a modern comfortable school was inaugurated here. The new educational institution is designed for 300 students in one shift. To share the joy of villagers came Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev, who congratulated those gathered on this significant day.
‘Opening of new schools is not just the construction of buildings, but providing new opportunities for talented students receiving education in a new era. Within the framework of the national project ‘Comfortable School’ initiated by the Head of State, construction of 10 schools with a total capacity of 6,900 places has started in our region. The first of them, designed for 900 pupils, we opened in the regional centre in October last year. At the beginning of this year, two schools in Zhanakorgan district for 300 and 600 seats, as well as schools for 300 seats in the city of Aral and 600 seats in Kyzylorda were put into operation,’ the head of the region said.
The modern, comfortable school is located on a 2.8-hectare plot, and the building itself occupies more than 6,800 square metres. The two-storey building is built according to the new format. In particular, there are separate entrances for preschoolers, primary school students, as well as middle and high school students. During the learning process, children are also distributed in separate blocks, which minimises their movement and overlap.
The peculiarity of the national project is that educational institutions are handed over for operation fully prepared. Each classroom, sports and assembly halls, canteen and corridors are equipped with all necessary furniture, technology, multimedia complexes and equipment. The school has a robotics room, a STEM-lab, a choreography room, as well as workshops for technology lessons, equipped at the highest level. There are modern sewing machines, machine tools, and all the necessary small things - needles, thread, fabrics, and so on.
In addition, the school has created co-working areas, drinking fountains, lockers for storing personal belongings, which makes the learning process even more comfortable for children.
The Comfortable School project significantly reduces the gap in the level of education between urban and rural areas. Now rural students will have access to various clubs and sections. They will be able to spend their extracurricular time making use of robotics, engineering, art and sports - all the conditions have been created for this. Parents and teachers have already expressed their gratitude for such a modern and well-thought-out educational centre.
