Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC paid a working visit to the Abay region
The purpose of the trip was to check the progress of the construction of the school ‘Comfort School’ for 600 places in the city of Ayagoz, as well as to meet with the leadership of the region to discuss topical issues.
A 600-seat school is under construction in the ‘Meat Processing Plant’ neighbourhood of Ayagoz. The contractor is a local company ‘SRB-L’, which should complete the facility before the start of the new school year and hand it over to the students.
One of the key issues remains the protection of the school territory from melt and groundwater. To solve this problem, joint work with the district Akimat is underway, and the most optimal options are being considered.
In addition, the Chairman of the Board discussed with the district Akim Daniyar Shakarimov the issues of landscaping and organisation of parking spaces.
The internal design of the school must comply with the requirements of the national project. Making independent changes is strictly prohibited, and the contractor was warned about it. In this regard, the contractor has been instructed to visit similar schools in Astana and Almaty, which have already been built and put into operation.
Junior classes should have a separate entrance to the building. It is also important to ensure proper equipment of playgrounds and sports grounds.
It was instructed to work with the staff of the central office to work on the finishing of the sports and assembly halls.
The climatic peculiarities of the region require a special approach. Strong wind gusts are often observed in the area, so weather conditions must be taken into account when installing small architectural forms and locating the boiler house. To prevent the entrance canopy from being torn down by the wind, it needs to be securely reinforced.
Near the school there are mainly private residential houses. Taking into account this factor, it is necessary to provide convenient and safe access roads to the school.
The principal's office and the reception area should be separated by a glass partition. Parents should be able to freely enter and exit the headteacher's office through the corridor without the use of an access control and management system (ACCS).
In order to finally resolve all relevant issues, a meeting with all responsible persons will be held on 7 April in Astana. Until then, all issues will be resolved on a routine basis by a joint working group.
The population of Ayagoz exceeds 40 thousand people. Within the framework of the national project, children of the city will have an opportunity to study in a modern, high-quality school that meets all standards.
