Within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School" in 20 regions of the country, was created interdepartmental commissions, which included employees of secondary schools, deputies of maslikhats, representatives of the prosecutor's office, departments for sanitary and epidemiological control, emergency situations, education departments, NCE "Atameken" and regional representatives of JSC "Samruk Kazyna Construction".

Interdepartmental working groups were created to study the needs of potential operators of school furniture, take into account the opinion of experts, assess the production potential and identify enterprises that will produce high-quality school furniture. School premises will be completed with furniture in three categories: office, kitchen and sports halls.

The commission will evaluate furniture products for compliance with state standards, environmental friendliness, safety, ergonomics, reliability and durability requirements.

The production of school furniture is a high-tech process that can be implemented by specialized enterprises. According to official statistics, as of February 1, 2023, 1,402 legal entities in Kazakhstan were registered producing furniture, which is 8% less than the previous year. There are 60 companies in the Association of Furniture Makers, and 50 companies in the Guild of Furniture Makers. It should be noted that only 80 enterprises have an industrial certificate, and many companies do not receive it due to the production of exclusive products.

Moreover, about 90% of the furniture production market is engaged in exclusive home furniture, which have the ability to produce school furniture, subject to obtaining the proper technical specification. Only 25% of the market have experience in mass production and supply of furniture for schools.

In the territorial context, furniture companies are located in all regions of the country. But it is important to note that 30% of the country's furniture production is produced in the city of Almaty (including the Almaty region 50%). Manufacturers of the city of Almaty have the opportunity to cover the need for educational furniture in the city of Almaty with a surplus. Thus, when delivering to other regions, the cost increase will be about 15%.

In order to prevent a rise in prices for materials for furniture products, Samruk-Kazyna Construction, under the contract, obliges the Contractor, after receiving a positive conclusion from the state examination on design and estimate documentation, to conclude contracts for the supply of furniture within 30 working days and provide the Customer with supporting documents for payment.

The physical condition of the child depends on the correct selection of educational furniture. In particular, the correctness of his posture, the safety of his vision and his emotional state.

An independent interdepartmental commission, in addition to furniture products, will also analyze the sketches of school spaces after the design stage is completed. Thus, based on the recommendations of the interdepartmental commission, decisions will be made on all areas of equipping future modern schools.
