Maulen Aimanbetov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction, instructed to develop qualitative design and estimate documentation for future comfortable schools during a meeting with representatives of contractors in the city of Pavlodar.

We will not allow "cabinet" design. Go to the sites, use every square meter. If there are problems, please contact SK Construction and local authorities. We have a great responsibility to the children, the future of our country,” Aimanbetov said while inspecting the site in Pavlodar, where the construction of a comfortable school is planned.

The site is located in the Dostyk microdistrict. The school for 1200 students will be commissioned by the end of 2024. The developer of Ai-Su Melioration LLP plans to hand over the foundation project of the future school for approval at the end of July, after which the builders will begin earthworks.

“No deviations from the project and no adjustments during construction! Everything should be clearly according to the PSD. Design with quality! If the construction does not comply with the project, it will have to be redone. These are additional costs. As they say, measure seven times, cut once,” warned the head of SK Construction.

Aimanbetov paid special attention to the design of access roads. It is important that parking does not interfere with the passage of cars, everything must be safe and thought out to the smallest detail. And on the sports ground, the Chairman instructed to install open concrete stands as in European schools. Children will be able to put things there during sports, and parents will be able to watch the competitions and training of children.

“Pavlodar is a cold region, so there must be a hockey rink. Also make a track around the perimeter of the school: in winter it will be a ski track, and in summer the children will run cross-country. I think physical education teachers will be happy,” said the Chairman of the Board.

This year, construction of another comfortable school will begin in Pavlodar, which is designed for 600 students. It will be erected next to the current one. To date, competitive procedures are underway, the results of which will be known in mid-August. Despite the fact that the contractor has not yet been identified, Maulen Aimanbetov visited the construction site. He instructed, as part of the project of the future comfortable school, to reconstruct the existing sports ground, and also recommended that the city akimat hold public hearings to remove green spaces in the territory. In addition, it is necessary to carry out the removal of electrical cables and sewerage networks by the municipal utilities of the city. Aimanbetov believes that it is necessary to prepare the site for construction, without waiting for the results of the competition, so as not to waste time on these works later.

He also recalled that high demands are placed on construction companies. This will help weed out one-day firms and unscrupulous developers from participating in the competition for the construction of comfortable schools.

“There are companies that indicate an overestimated amount of taxes and win the competition in every conceivable and unthinkable way. They distribute objects to subcontractors, skim the cream and leave. We ruled it out,” Aymanbetov assured.

In total, within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School" in the Pavlodar region, it is planned to build 5 secondary education facilities, of which 2 comfortable schools will be built by the end of 2024, the remaining 3 - by the end of 2025. Successful implementation of the national project will create 5.4 thousand additional student places throughout the region. By the way, 1800 of them will appear before the end of 2024.

It is important to note that after commissioning, all comfortable schools will be transferred to the balance of local executive bodies. This means that the new educational facilities will be public and education in them will be free.

The pilot national project "Comfortable School" is being implemented on the direct instructions of the President of the country. It is aimed at eliminating emergency schools, solving the problems of three-shift education and the shortage of student places. As part of the national project, 369 modern schools will be built throughout the country by the end of 2025. This will create 740,000 new student places.
