This was agreed upon by the deputy akim of the region Dmitry Garikov and the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction Maulen Aimanbetov during his working visit to the region.

The fact is that in the aftermath of the Vodny region of Abay, within the framework of the national project, a comfortable school for 600 students will be built. However, the land plot previously allocated for construction is too narrow, and due to the incorrect configuration, it is not possible to plant the building. The area needs to be expanded.

In a personal conversation with the head of SK Construction, the governor of the region promised that in the near future local executive bodies would issue a resolution on the withdrawal of five neighboring land plots, since the construction of a comfortable school within the framework of the national project is now a priority.

During a working trip to the Abay region, Maulen Aimanbetov also visited the site where a school for 1200 students will be built in the Karagaily residential area of the city of Semey. At a meeting with a representative of the contracting organization AN Group LLP, the Chairman instructed to revise the general layout of the building, taking into account the main transport arteries of the regional center. In addition, Aimanbetov set the task of speeding up the process of obtaining the conclusion of engineering and geological surveys at the site, and also instructed to issue earthwork drawings within a week.

In the Abai region, the construction of 5 comfortable schools will begin this year and be completed by the end of 2024. To date, developers have been selected for 2 schools, and competitive procedures are being carried out for 3 objects, the results of which will be announced by the end of July. Another 6 schools will open their doors in 2025. In total, within the framework of the Comfortable School national project, the construction of 11 secondary education facilities is planned in the region. Successful implementation of the project will create 5.7 thousand additional student places throughout the region.
