Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, which is the single directorate for the implementation of the Comfortable School pilot national project, presented a report on the actual work performed and funds used for the first half of 2023.

“Implementation of the national project “Comfortable Schools” is a pioneer program, a truly new experience of systemic transformations in the domestic educational sphere. The program has no analogues in the history of modern Kazakhstan and, in the process of implementation, resolves important legal conflicts by improving regulatory tools and organizational approaches. The high dynamics of the project made it possible to conclude contracts for the design and construction of 108 comfortable schools in the first half of the year.” - said the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC Maulen Aimanbetov.

For these facilities, the total cost of the initial contracts amounted to 678.7 billion tenge. Of these, 10.1 billion tenge was allocated for the development of design and estimate documentation, and 668.6 billion tenge for construction and installation work.

For 6 months of 2023, 245.3 billion tenge were received from local executive bodies to the account of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC.
