14.9 thousand student places will appear in the Aktobe region due to the construction of comfortable schools.
Within the framework of the national project “Comfortable School”, construction of 14 educational facilities of a new format will begin this year in the region. They will be put into operation by the end of 2024.
Maulen Aimanbetov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction, got acquainted with the course of preparation for the construction of schools during a working visit to Aktobe region.
In the Batys-2 residential area of the city of Aktobe, construction of a comfortable school for 900 students will begin this year. The contractor of the object has not yet been determined, as competitive procedures are being carried out, the results of which will become known in early August. During the inspection, Aimanbetov noted that the land allocated for construction is limited in area. Representatives of local executive bodies assured that the site will be replaced by a nearby area of 2.07 hectares. One of these days, the issue will be discussed at a meeting of the land commission, a decision will be made, after which the registration of the site will begin. Issue resolved on the spot.
It is planned to build a school for 2,000 students in the Eset-batyr residential area. It will open its doors by the end of 2024. The contractor will be determined in the near future. There are green spaces on the land plot where the modern school will be built. The city akimat will organize their demolition and allocate additional funds for compensatory planting in another area, that is, instead of 1 cut down tree, 10 new ones will be planted.
A comfortable school for 600 students will also be built in the village of Shubarkuduk in the Temir region. At the construction site, Maulen Aimanbetov was met by akim of the district Salamat Amanbaev. They discussed the demolition of a dilapidated building located on the site.
The head of the district suggested leaving the emergency facility, reconstructing it and using it for other purposes. However, the Chairman of the Board did not agree with this. He noted that the entrance to comfortable schools should be free from all sides, the dilapidated building will interfere, and also spoil the modern look of the new educational institution. As a result of the discussions, the akim of the Temir region promised to organize the demolition of the facility in the near future, which, by the way, was built in 1938.
During the working trip, the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction held a personal conversation with the regional akim Yeraly Tugzhanov. Akim promised to help in solving the problems that arose during the implementation of the national project in the region.
For example, in the village of Bozoy, Shalkar district, it is not possible to identify a contractor for the construction of a comfortable school for 300 students. According to the plan, it should be commissioned by the end of next year. However, due to the long distance, and the village is located 600 km from Aktobe, not a single company took part in two competitions. Therefore, the issue of developing a school project, taking into account the location of the village and logistics, is now being considered. This means that this object will cost more. The Chairman of the Board and the akim of the region discussed this issue and will make an appropriate decision in the near future, since the village needs a new school.
In total, within the framework of the national project “Comfortable School”, construction of 18 secondary education facilities is planned in the region. 14 comfortable schools will be put into operation by the end of 2024, the remaining 4 schools will open their doors by the end of 2025. Successful implementation of the national project will create 14.9 thousand additional student places throughout the region. By the way, 11.4 thousand of them will appear before the end of 2024.
