Today, Maulen Aimanbetov, as part of a working visit, visited land plots in the regional center of the Mangystau region and other settlements to check the progress of preparations for the construction of educational institutions within the framework of the Comfortable School national project.

Aimanbetov began his visit by visiting the 33rd district of Aktau, where construction of a comfortable school for 1,200 students will begin this year. LLP "SK A-Stroy Montazh" was determined as the general contractor. Preparatory work is in full swing, the results of engineering and geodetic surveys are expected. A similar educational institution will be built in the 19th district of the regional center. The developer is the Eurostroy-A company. During the Chairman's visit, the issue of the building's landing was resolved - previously there were difficulties due to the shape of the site.

The head of SK Construction also visited the Rauan residential area, where a comfortable school for 300 students will be built. Local residents are looking forward to a new educational institution, since most of the children are forced to study at the school in the village of Umirzak, which is 5 kilometers from the village. A comfortable school will be built by Kurylys Invest Group LLP. Another school in the Samal microdistrict of Batyr village will be built by AS Kurylys LLP. The building will be designed for 1200 students. There are no problematic issues in these areas, all work is being carried out according to the schedule.

Nevertheless, the Chairman of the Board drew the attention of representatives of contractors to the importance of meeting all the deadlines for preparatory work and asked to expedite the fencing of land and the mobilization of construction equipment. Aimanbetov emphasized the need for timely supply of engineering networks (water supply, sewerage, Internet) and the construction of access roads from all four sides of school territories.

At the end of the working trip, the Chairman of the Board of SK Construction met with Akim of the Mangistau region Nurlan Nogaev. They held a meeting with the participation of the deputy akim of the region, the head of the regional construction department and the regional representative of Samruk-Kazyna Construction.

“Contracts have been signed for 5 schools, work has begun to mobilize labor and other resources at construction sites. For another 5 educational facilities, the results of competitive procedures have been summed up and contractors have been identified, and for 3 schools the results of the competitions will become known this week. In terms of design and estimate documentation, a working draft is being developed, the documentation will be provided in full to the state non-departmental examination in September 2023," Aymanbetov informed.

Issues of providing schools with engineering communications, construction of access roads, parking lots, as well as the use of locally produced materials and goods in the implementation of work were discussed. Aimanbetov asked the deputy akim of the region in charge of education to hold meetings on the implementation of the national project with the participation of the regional representative of the Society, contractors and heads of departments on a weekly basis, and also monitor the situation on the ground on a daily basis.

The head of the region assured that he would give appropriate instructions and provide personal control over the implementation of the national project in the region.

In total, 21 educational institutions will be built in the Mangistau region within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School". Construction of 13 schools will begin this year. Educational institutions designed for 300-600 places must be commissioned by September 1 next year, while schools with a capacity of 900-2500 places - by the end of 2024. The construction of 8 schools will begin in 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025.

This completes the working trip of Maulen Aimanbetov to the western regions. Tonight he flies to the capital. From July 28 to August 1, the head of SK Construction visited 4 regions, examined 15 construction sites and held a meeting with akims of Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Earlier, Aimanbetov said that he intends to visit all regions of the country in order to personally check the progress of preparations for the construction of comfortable schools.

“During business trips, many issues are resolved locally. I have the opportunity to convey the problems to the regional akim so that he pays attention to them. Now I have no days off, I also refused the planned vacation. My position is that in order to build all schools with high quality and deliver them on time, we need total control and joint work with local executive bodies,” said the Chairman of the Board, noting that there is strong support from the population and representatives of LEAs and a full understanding of the importance of the national project in the issue of ensuring accessibility and comfortable conditions of education for our children.
