School is more necessary: in Pavlodar it is planned to build a comfortable school on the site of the existing hippodrome
The city Akimat is developing a project to relocate the hippodrome to another place.
A new modern comfortable school on the place of a shelter in the Zhastar microdistrict will open its doors at the end of 2025. It will be designed for 1200 pupils.
JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" together with local executive bodies have already developed a roadmap for the construction of the educational institution, as well as set deadlines for the connection of engineering networks to the site, construction of roads and installation of lighting.
Two more comfortable schools for 1,200 children each will be built in the Vostochny and Usolsky microdistricts. They will also be commissioned at the end of 2025. The site allocated for the construction of the school in Vostochny is located on the site of a former quarry, due to which there are drops of up to 4-6 metres. In this regard, it is necessary to make a topographic survey of the territory and perform geological surveys in the near future to determine the need to fill the site and determine the level of groundwater. Meanwhile, two commercial facilities are located on the site in Usolskoye. The city akimat has already started the procedure of their removal for further demolition.
In total, 5 new-format educational institutions will be built in Pavlodar within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School" till 2026. 3 schools will open their doors by the end of 2025, and the remaining 2 will be commissioned by the end of next year.
Yestay Yentybaev, Project Manager of the Construction Division of the Department for National Project Implementation and Regional Development of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, familiarised himself with the preparations for the construction of comfortable schools in Pavlodar. Within the framework of his working trip he visited all 5 land plots.
Besides Yentybaev, regional representative of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC Serik Mukushev, management of departments of architecture and town-planning, construction and education of Pavlodar region took part in the tour.
One of the comfortable schools with a capacity of 600 pupils will be built next to secondary school No. 47. The term of commissioning is 2024. The contractor is VentKarKaraService LLP.
To date, the local authorities are in the process of removing three cable lines from the development site. The tracing on removal of sewerage networks was considered. Following the inspection of the site Yentybaev gave a number of instructions to the contractor, in particular, as soon as possible to mobilise construction equipment and fence the territory, to determine the exact planting of the building, to begin work on the removal of the fertile soil layer and to carry out the uprooting of stumps. It is also necessary to increase the number of machinery and labourers.
A comfortable 1,200-seat school in the Dostyk microdistrict should also open its doors next year. However, as Estai Yentybaev noted, in order to deliver the school on time, the contractor Ai-Su Melioration LLP needs to accelerate the pace of work and bring the site into compliance with the norms of the developed construction plan.
It was instructed to provide a full schedule of works by 26 September. The issues of temporary heat supply during the winter period for finishing works were discussed. Local executive bodies have already announced a tender for the construction of engineering infrastructure.
Implementation of the national project "Comfortable School" will allow to solve the problem of emergency schools and shortage of pupil places. Thanks to the construction of 5 educational institutions in Pavlodar, additional places for 5.4 thousand schoolchildren will appear. According to the regional authorities, more than 12 thousand pupils sat down for the first time this year.
