22 февраля, Председатель Правления АО «Samruk-Kazyna Construction» Маулен Айманбетов встретился с акимом Шымкента Габитом Сыздыкбековым. В амкимате города прошло совещание, в котором приняли участие представители Samruk-Kazyna Construction, заместители акима города, акимы районов, руководители управлений и подрядчики.

During the discussion, the implementation of the national project "Comfortable School" in Shymkent city was elaborated, problematic issues and ways to solve them were considered.

Maulen Aimanbetov noted the need for timely provision of comfortable schools with external engineering networks. To date, 8 schools in Shymkent have developed design and estimate documentation for connecting engineering and communication infrastructure, which have successfully passed the state expertise. It is expected that 4 schools will receive the conclusions at the end of the month.

Akim of the city warned that the construction should be of high quality, and educational facilities should be completed within the established terms. A number of issues holding back the project realization were openly discussed.

After meeting with the head of the city, Maulen Aimanbetov visited construction sites of a number of schools and familiarized himself with the situation on erection of schools for 1200 seats in "Turan" microdistrict, for 1200 seats in "South-East" microdistrict and for 2000 seats in "Nurtas" microdistrict. Contractors were instructed to activate and organize work in 2-3 shifts.

And in the evening, despite the end of working hours, the head of Samruk-Kazyna Construction heard a detailed report of regional representatives of Shymkent city and Turkestan region. Each object was considered individually, all problematic issues were worked out. Specific instructions were given to the specialists of the company responsible for the implementation of the national project in the field.

Construction of 18 schools is planned in Shymkent within the framework of the National Project. 12 educational facilities will be put into operation in 2024, the remaining 6 schools - in 2025. 4 schools will open their doors on September 1 this year.
