As we reported earlier, construction companies of comfortable schools in Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions are actively involved in flood control measures. At the same time, the construction of educational institutions in the regions has slowed down, and in two areas it has been suspended at all. Facilities for 1,200 places in the city of Kulsary (Atyrau region) and for 300 places in the village of Pugachevo (WKO) still remain flooded. Work continues on the construction of an internal dam at the 600-seat school in Petropavlovsk. The number of employees at the site has been reduced to about 30 people, while the remaining resources of Unity LLP, including machinery, are directed towards containing the natural disaster in the region.

Five contracting organizations of Mangistau region also went to help their compatriots. The companies allocated equipment from their reserves. SMK-Atameken LLP rendered great assistance, namely, it sent 23 units of equipment for the construction of dams and bank protection works. They have already started working: 18 dump trucks, bulldozers and loaders are involved in the work in Atyrau city, the rest are involved in the activities in Kulsary. Also the contracting organization sent 500 tons and 80 cars of crushed stone.
Alliance LTD, Ondasyn Stroy, AS Kurylys and Eurostroy-A LLP were not left aside. The companies sent about 20 units of equipment to Uralsk, Atyrau and Kulsary to fight with big water. Meanwhile, the construction of all 13 comfortable schools in Mangistau region continues.
Due to the second wave of floods, the number of educational institutions being built under the National Project, which are in the risk zone, has increased. All 9 facilities in WKO and 6 comfort schools in Atyrau region may be flooded with the arrival of high water.
