A comfortable school was opened in the Urker residential area of Astana city
Аким Астаны Женис Касымбек и председатель Правления АО «Samruk-Kazyna Construction» Маулен Айманбетов открыли очередную комфортную школу. Это одинадцатая по счету комфортная школа, которую мы открыли с начала нового учебного года в столице страны.
The new school is located in the Urker residential area. The school is designed for 4,000 students in two shifts. At present, children study in three shifts at school-lyceum No. 69 in this residential area. Thus, the new school will solve the issue of overcrowding. Children will start studying there from the 3rd quarter.
Within the framework of the national project of the Head of State ‘Comfortable School’ 24 schools of new format will be built in the capital in the period from 2024-2025. These educational institutions will allow to create about 90 thousand pupil places in two shifts and solve the problem with overcrowding of Astana schools. Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC is a single Directorate responsible for the construction of educational facilities.
The new modern comfortable school has a functional and safe educational environment for children. There are separate blocks for primary and high school students. There is also a barrier-free environment for children with special educational needs, modern subject rooms, STEM-labs, robotics classrooms, a choreography room, 4 sports halls, co-working and recreation areas, playgrounds and sports grounds. Special attention has been paid to security measures: digital video cameras and turnstiles have been installed.
Head of the city, Chairman of the Board and active residents of Urker noted the quality construction, equipment, as well as the convenience of the school for both students and their parents and teachers. The contractor of the school is Integra Construction KZ.
